Uzbekistan offering Fam tours from November

Samarkand, Uzbekistan: Uzbekistan is starting Fam Tours (familiarization Tours) from first week of November 2014 to promote its tourism products. Tours will continue till August 2015.

According to the Silk Road Destinations that is conducting Fam tours, foreign travel agents, travel writers, documentary makers and tourism experts are inviting by the incoming travel agency from first week of November 2014.

In an interview with Dispatch News Desk (DND) Vladimir KIM who is Sales Manager for Europe and Americas of Silk Road Destinations said that ideal behind offering Fam tours to keep Central Asia at the top of the tourism map and focal point of Central Asian tourism will remain Uzbekistan.

Q: Why do you organize FAM Tours?

A: FAM Tours are a great learning tool for travel agents and meeting planners. Travel agents learn about the travel products of our country (Uzbekistan) and then agents are in position to recommend travel to their customers. While travel writers and documentary producers are also invited to visit destinations so they can write or put such destinations in their writing and travel documentaries. A large number of travel writers and documentary producers visited Uzbekistan through Silk Road Destinations and promote Uzbekistan at international travel and tourism map.

 

Q: What is Silk Road Destinations?

Q: What is the best time to take part in FAM Tours to Uzbekistan?

A: According to Uzbekistan Tourism National Reports, Spring (March – May) and Autumn are the most visited seasons in Uzbekistan, followed by Summer and Winter. Generally, there are ten sunny months in Uzbekistan during the entire year.

 

Q: What is the duration and programme highlights for your FAM Tours?

A: 7 days and 6 nights is the ideal duration to discover Uzbekistan. Our main destinations for such trips are cities that are on UNESCO World Heritage cities including Samarkand and Bukhara, village of Mitan (which is under the project of Ecotourism/Collective tourism) and the capital of Tashkent. Q: What are common places you show during these trips?
