Shanghai: The 10th World Travel Fair（May 5-12, 2013）came to a successful close on May 12th, 2013. The Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported.
The total exhibition area reached 15,000 square meters, with 550 exhibitors from around 50 countries and regions from the globe, witnessed the annual tourism industry gala in China. Two–and-half-day’s “B2B World Travel Professional” attracted 7629 trade visitors
and buyers, produced 1663 groups of Match-making meetings. Three-and-half-day’s “B2C World Tourism Carnival” gathered 38,361 visitors, 19% higher than last year. Onsite booking received RMB 13.47 million turnovers in total, 53% increase compared with that of WTF 2012 with a record high, the cruise product sales generated RMB2.53 million, account 18% among the total.
