Suicide attack in Pakistan’s northwest; 4 soldiers killed, 25 injured

MIRANSHAH: A suicide bomber rammed his explosive-laden car into a military checkpoint in the restive North Waziristan tribal region on Wednesday, killing at least four soldiers and injuring 25 others, security officials said.

The attack occurred when the soldiers were offering prayers at a mosque of Khajuri checkpoint situated in the Mir Ali area of Miranshah, the main town in the North Waziristan tribal region.

No group immediately claimed responsibility for the attack yet.
