BIHAR: A temple for Indian cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is being built in Indian state of Bihar that will be opened to the public early next year, Dispatch News Desk reported on Thursday.

The shrine of Tendulkar, who was awarded the country’s highest civilian honour, the Bharat Ratna, a couple of days ago after he retired from international cricket, is being built by a local film star Manoj Tiwary.

Tiwary has expressed his hope that Tendulkar will inaugurate the temple when it is ready.
