Russian parliament approves anti-terror legislation

MOSCOW: The Russian parliament on Friday unanimously passed anti-terror legislation that requires relatives of the terrorists to pay for the damages caused in attacks, Dispatch News Desk reported.

The new law, approved by the lower house of Russian parliament, set punishment up to 10 years in jail in case of getting training for terrorist activities.

Moreover, the law also introduces a punishment of up to six years for those participating in a militant group abroad.
