Moscow: King Willem Alexander of Netherlands is due to arrive in Russia on November 8 for a special ceremony closing The Netherlands-Russia cross years despite recent diplomatic tension between the two countries.
Over the past month Russian and Dutch diplomats were involved in a number of bitter incidents. A Russian diplomat in The Hague was beaten up and illegally detained by police. Then a Dutch diplomat was attacked in Moscow. A short while later an apartment of Russian diplomats in the Hague was raided.
