Indian PM Modi to visit all five central Asian republics from July 6

Tashkent, Uzbekistan: The Indian Prime Narendra Modi will start his visit of Central Asian republics from Uzbekistan on July 6, reports Dispatch News Desk news agency.

He will visit Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan just before and after SCO and BRICS summits in Ufa Russia.

He will start his eight-day tour from July 6 to 13 and will visit Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan ahead of the July 8-10 back-to-back BRICS and SCO summits.

He will reach Tashkent on July 6 where he will meet Uzbek President Islam Karimov. This is first visit of Modi to Uzbekistan and he will discuss joint ventures and trade issues with Uzbek President.

Modi will visit Kazakhstan on July 7-8 and his talks would focus on energy cooperation and uranium mining opportunities for Indian companies. It may be mentioned that visit of Indian Prime Minister Modi to Astana is coincide with the first drilling for oil in the Satpayev block oil fields where India has 25 percent stake.

Modi will visit Turkmenistan after concluding his visit of Ufa Russia and will reach Ashgabat on July 10. His two-day visit will focus $10 billion Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) gas pipeline project.
