Fireworks factory explosion in Vietnam; 21 killed, 98 injured

HANOI: An explosion occurred at a fireworks factory in a military complex around 120 kilometres (75 miles) north of Vietnam’s capital Hanoi, killing at least 21 persons and injuring 98 others, a military rescue official said on Saturday.

A police official in Phu Tho province said that the fire has now been brought under control, adding that an investigation into the cause of the accident had been opened.
