A criminal case application submitted against a sitting Senator of Pakistan

Islamabad: A woman namely Shamim Kiyani who has been fighting cases in different courts of law against Senator Azam Khan Hoti has submitted an application to the office of the Inspector General of Islamabad Police for action against police officials who are not taking any action against culprits she had mentioned in her application submitted last year.
In her application submitted here on Monday, she demanded protection against Senator Azam Khan Hoti, claiming that Azam Khan Hoti is after her life and police have not been processing cases against him because he is a powerful politician. It may be mentioned that Shamim Kiyani claims that Azam Khan Hoti is her husband and they are in wedlock since 2002.
She has demanded departmental action against Investigation Officer (IO) Shafqatullah Khan Niazi who is delaying the case
In her application she said that a case had been pursued in the Islamabad High Court for her Haq Mehr and Maintenance against her powerful husband, Azam Khan Hoti, former Federal Minister for the last three years and he (Azam Hoti) has been using all possible tactics to harass her to with her case against him.
He said that on March 3, 2014 two armed men trespassed into my house and while pointing guns at her threatened to murder her if she did not withdraw cases against Azam Khan Hoti.
It may be mentioned that no action has been taken place against any person in this case for the last one year.
