18 killed in truck-bus collision in Argentina

BUENOS AIRES: At least 18 persons were killed and 12 others sustained injuries when a truck collided with a passenger bus on a highway in the Argentina’s capital.

The health minister for Mendoza province Matias Roby said that the collision occurred on national route 7, about 1,000 kilometres west of Buenos Aires.

The accident took place because the truck was going on the wrong side of the highway, which led to a head-on collision with a passenger bus.
