KOLKATA: A head-on collision occurred between two jeeps and a speeding truck on a highway in eastern India on Tuesday morning, killing 16 persons.
Police said that the victims in the jeeps were returning home after attending a wedding at Sahapur, a village nearly 400km north of Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal state.
