One killed, 8 injured as twin blasts strike Russia’s Dagestan region

MOSCOW: At least one person was killed and eight others injured in twin explosions that occurred in Makhachkala, the capital of Russia’s restive Dagestan region on Wednesday, Dispatch News Desk reported.

Police said that the bombs, which apparently were set off by a remote controlled device, exploded outside a liquor store on one of the city’s liveliest streets.
