SOCHI: Canada’s Marielle Thompson won the gold medal in the women’s freestyle skiing skicross at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games in Rosa Khutor on Friday.
Kelsey Serwa, another Canadian, won the silver medal. The bronze medal went to Anna Holmlund of Sweden.
