Several terror attacks rocks Paris. 100 killed
Monitoring Desk: Several terrorists attacked different places in Paris on Friday night and police confirmed that at least two suicide bombing were reported till the filing of this report.
According to Dispatch News Desk news agency, Paris rocked with terror attacks that including suicide bombing and firing by terrorists at different parts of the city including outside the stade de France stadium where French President was watching France-Germany friendly match. According to initiate reports, at least 100 people were fund dead at different places due to firing and suicide bombings.
Russian President Vladimir Putin has offered his deep condolences for the “series of monstrous terrorist attacks in Paris.” He has offered his solidarity to French President Francois Hollande and to the people of France, the Kremlin’s press secretary, Dmitry Peskov told RIA.
Peskov added that Russia condemns such acts, and will offer any help it can to bring those responsible for attacks to justice.
President Barack Obama offered his support to the French people at a press conference Friday evening.
“Once again we’ve seen an outrageous attempt to terrorize innocent civilians,” Obama said. “This is not an attack just on Paris. This is not an attack on all of France. This is an attack on all of humanity and the values we share.”
Twitter messages and French media report shooting and suicide bombings. According to reports, explosions took place outside the stadium at gate D and H and over 15 people killed in this two attacks.
Meanwhile, in separate incidents of firing at a restaurant and on street, a number of people were killed. It’s believed one man began firing on a group of people. Shootings in at least two locations and multiple explosions near a soccer stadium have been reported in Paris sofar. Reports are pouring in.
The French publication Liberation report that gunmen opened fire near the Carillon bar and Cambodge restaurant in the 10th arrondisement while gunfire has also been reported in the area of the Bataclan theater in the 11th arrondisement, where police reportedly say that hostages have been taken.
According to police sources, at least 18 people were killed and “many wounded” in a series of attacks in Paris by gunmen armed with kalashnikovs and grenades on Friday evening.
The first shooting to be reported took place at a Cambodian restaurant in the 10th arrondissement of the city, an area with many crowded bars and restaurants, particularly busy on Friday evening.
A second shooting was reported minutes later near a nightclub in the area, Le Bataclan, where gunmen were said to be holding hostages. Later grenades were said to have been thrown at a stadium in the north of the city where a football match between France and Germany was being held.
Large numbers of police rushed to the scene of the first attack, a Cambodian restaurant in the 10th arrondissement of the French capital. They evacuated nearby bars and restaurants.
It may be mentioned that 17 people were killed in a series of attacks in January 2015 in Paris that began with the shootings of staff at the office of the Charlie Hebdo magazine.
