Moscow, Russia: Pakistan is participating in first International Army Games 2015 in its group of “Master of Air Defence” Games are held in Yeysk Russia.

Russia hosts the first International Army Games on August 1-15 with teams from 16 other nations expected to take part in various contests organized by the Russian Defense Ministry. Participants include from Azerbaijan, Angola, Armenia, Belarus, China, Egypt, India, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Nicaragua, Pakistan, Serbia, Tajikistan, Venezuela and Russia.

The International Army Games 2015 have brought together more than 2,000 foreign troops from 17 countries.

“Master of Air Defence” Games are being held at Yeysk that is located at Azov seashore in Russia. In the west the city is bounded by the Taganrog Bay of the Azov Sea, and in the east – by the waters of the Yeysk lagoon, which is met by the River Yeya. That is the origin of the name of the city Yeysk. The 726th Army Air Defense Training Center is located in Yeysk region and was established on November 1, 1992 on the facilities of the Army Air Defense Armament Storage Base and Antiaircraft Artillery Training range.

The range of the Training Center constitutes a plot of land equipped with training facilities (fields) and offshore zone of the Taganrog Bay. The Range allows live firing tasks using missile and artillery weapons of short-range air defense systems at training air targets.
