Peshawar shrine blast kills three

PESHAWAR: At least three people were killed and 25 others were injured in a powerful blast at the Pinza Piran shrine in Hazarkhwani here on Thursday, Dispatch News Desk (DND) reported on 21 June 2012.

The bomb was planted in a donkey-cart that went off in the afternoon when a large number of people were visiting the popular shrine, a police official said.

Bomb disposal unit officials said the donkey-cart carried around 12 kilograms of explosives and the feet of the donkey were fastened so that it couldn’t move.
