“Hotels in Uzbekistan” portal launched to facilitate small accommodation providers to showcase their accommodations
Tashkent, Uzbekistan: “Hotels in Uzbekistan” portal has been launched to provide facilities to small and medium accommodation providers to showcase their accommodations.
Portal is in English language but company is firm to provide in multi languages in future.
Taking an initiative to promote small and medium size accommodation providers and tourism stakeholders from Uzbekistan, a private tour operator from Samarkand has launched a data base of bed and breakfast (B&B) accommodation.
The data base offer booking of these B&B holders who usually do not have their own online portals and websites and their marketing is based only through international tourism portal working as commission agents.

Portal offers over 100 hotels all over Uzbekistan including in Tashkent, Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Nukus and Fergana valley.
Small and medium scale hotel industry is throbbing in Uzbekistan but majority of small and medium scale accommodation providers face inability to market their accommodation in English language or launching their own websites. Majority of them are depending upon international hotel portals since there is no portal available to showcase them in English language. It may be mentioned that major spoken and written language in Uzbekistan is Russian and Uzbek being an old part of former Soviet Union.
Young generation is learning English fast but middle aged people are not conversant to English providing B&B accommodation to tourists.
