New Delhi, India: The administration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi government has achieved a landmark victory in diplomatic arena today as United Arab Emirates (UAE) has symbolically supported Indian stance over Kashmir issue, reports Indian media.
India celebrated its 68th Republic Day where a 149-membered Presidential Guards Continent of UAE Army presented a ceremonial salute to the Indian President Mukherjee today.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the crown prince of Abu Dhabi and a son of the UAE’s founding president was the chief guest (Guest of Honour) at the Republic Day parade. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has become first ever Muslim leader to attend Indian Republic Day as a Guest of Honour.
The presence of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Guest of Honour of Republic Day represents UAE support to Indian stance over Kashmir because Kashmiris observe Republic Day as Black Day all over the world to press their demand for an independent Kashmir instead of being a state of India.
